FROM POINTS NORTH - BOSTON, NEW HAMPSHIRE OR MAINE
Take Rte. 128 to Rte. 24 South. Continue to end where Rte. 114 South begins.
Follow this into Newport, where it will turn into Broadway. Continue until you
pass the Newport Hospital on your left. The 2nd left after the hospital is RHODE
ISLAND AVENUE. Turn left onto Rhode Island Ave. Follow this for 4/10ths of a
mile to number 77, a gray house on your right with a low stone wall.
FROM POINTS SOUTH - CONNECTICUT, NEW YORK OR NEW JERSEY
Take Rte. 95 North to Rhode Island exit # 3A, Rte 138 East. Follow Rt.138 EAST
for 14 miles to Rt.1. Turn left onto Rt 1 North/Rt.138 East for 2.3 miles to
exit marked 138 East - Jamestown, Newport Bridges. Follow 138 East over the
Jamestown and Newport bridges. At the end of the Newport Bridge, take the "Scenic
Newport" exit. Turn right off the ramp. At the first traffic signal, go
left onto Van Zandt Avenue. Follow to the end where it will intesect with Broadway.
Turn right onto Broadway. Continue onto Broadway until you pass the Newport
Hospital (on your left). The 2nd left after the Newport Hospital is Rhode Island
Avenue. Turn left onto Rhode Island Avenue and follow 4/10ths of a mile to #77,
a gray house on your right with a low stone wall.
FROM CAPE COD OR THE ISLANDS
Take Rte. 6 West to Rte 195 West to Fall River, Ma. In Fall River take Rte.
24 south. Rte. 24 South will merge with 114 South. Follow Rte 114 South into
Newport. Rte . 114 will become Broadway. Follow Broadway until you pass the
Newport Hospital ( on your left). The 2nd left after the hospital is RHODE ISLAND
AVENUE. Go left onto Rhode Island Ave. for 4/10ths of a mile to number 77, a
gray house on your right with a low stone wall.
